Wanda Caesar is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in both primary and psychiatry. She has a passion for providing compassionate care and improving the lives of individuals with mental health disorders. She is passionate about providing quality and comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. She follows evidence-based guidelines with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.

Wanda completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Howard University, where she developed a strong foundation in nursing practice and patient care. After gaining valuable experience as a registered nurse in various mental health setting, she pursued advanced education to become a nurse practitioner.

Wanda then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in family nurse practitioner and later obtained psychiatric-mental health nursing. During her graduate studies, she gained in-depth knowledge and clinic expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health disorder across the lifespan. Wanda values interdisciplinary education and inter-professional collaboration for a whole person, patient centered approach to health and healthcare.

Following the completion of her master’s degree, Wanda began her career as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in a community mental health center. There, she provided comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and prescribed medications to clients with various mental health condition, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, ADHD, and anxiety disorder.

Wanda Caesar is an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner who has made a significant impact in the field of mental health through her clinical expertise, dedication to ongoing learning, and commitment to patient advocacy. Her compassionate approach and comprehensive care have helped countless individuals on their journey towards improved mental well-being.
