Working with the school can often be a vital part of treating both children and adolescents. Therefore, the provider’s at Crossroads Psychological Associates make a point of working with the school whenever possible. With the parent's permission, they meet with teachers, conduct classroom observations, and attended IEP or other meetings with teachers and school administrators. They work with teachers in order to help develop strategies for studying, doing homework, and managing behavior in the classroom. In addition, they help parents and teachers to work together to reinforce the work that is happening both at home and at school.
